Italian Sausage Soup



THIS KETO-FRIENDLY soup is easy to make with ingredients that are of high quality but affordable. 

 Time: 45 minutes Calories: 295 Fat:  20g Protein: 20g Net carbs: 7g

 Ingredients: 

  • ¼ tsp. of black pepper 
  • ¼ tsp. of dried oregano 
  • ¼ tsp. of red pepper flakes 
  • ½ tsp. of sea salt 
  • 1 tbsp. of oil 
  • 1 tbsp. of fresh basil 
  • 1 lb. ground Italian sausage 
  • 2 stalks of celery 
  • 2 cloves of garlic 
  • 2 oz. of carrot (opt.) 
  • 4 oz. of onion 
  • 15 oz. of tomato sauce 
  • 32 oz. of beef broth 


Method:  

1.Pour some oil into the Instant Pot and set it on sauté mode. 

2.Throw the sausage into the pot then cook while stirring until it turns brown. 

3.Add the onion, carrot, and celery then stir properly. Cook for 5 minutes until it softens. 

4.Put the tomato sauce, broth, oregano, garlic, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper into the pot. 

5.Use the lid to cover the pot properly then set on manual and cook for 30 minutes on high pressure. 

6.Quick release the pressure then take off the lid. 

7.Serve.
